Forest Whitaker and his wife Keisha Nash are reportedly calling it quits after being married for over twenty years of marriage
According to court documents, the “Black Panther” star filed documents on Thursday to end his marriage with Keisha Nash, a model and entrepreneur.
Whitaker, 57, cites irreconcilable differences as his reason for wanting a divorce and does not want to pay spousal support. He also wants both sides to be responsible for their own legal fees.
Forest Whitaker and Keisha, 46, met on the set of “Blown Away” in 1994 and began a relationship after playing each other’s on-screen love interests.
They married two years later, in 1996, during a ceremony in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The couple shares two daughters together, Sonnet and True. They each also have a child from previous relationships.
The exact cause of the split is still unclear.
