A Florida woman was arrested for shooting her boyfriend because he was snoring too loudly, according to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.
47-year old Lorie Morin has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery, Fox News reports.
Police said they responded to a home on Emerald Lake Drive on March 6 after being told a man was shot. When they arrived, they said both the victim and Morin claimed it was an accidental shooting.
According to the report, the officers who investigated the incident said the shooting was caused by a domestic violence between Morin and her boyfriend. It was said that Morin shot the victim for snoring too loudly while sleeping.
Both parties had been drinking before argument ensued prior to the shooting, according to a press release.
