A video has emerged showing the moment Grammy-nominated rapper, Nipsey Hussle was shot.
Nipsey Hussle, 33, was shot outside his clothing store in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles on Sunday March 31, 2019. Before his death, he was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards in 2019.
In the video below obtained by TMZ from a business adjacent Nipsey’s The Marathon Clothing store, the suspect can be seen in a red shirt, walking quickly toward the front of the store before he began shooting.
One of the victims collapsed to the ground, and many people were seen fleeing the area.
Nipsey Hussle whose real name was Ermias Davidson Asghedom was confirmed dead at a hospital he was taken to while the two other victims who were also shot at the store are in serious condition.
From the video, Los Angeles Police have identified Eric Holder, a 29-year-old Los Angeles resident as the suspected gunman. Eric Holder has gang ties according to statement by the Los Angeles Police Department.
