Nipsey Hussle’s babymama,Tanisha Foster is reportedly wanted after failing to appear in court on a DUI case in Los Angeles.

According to TMZ, Tanisha, who shares a daughter Emani, with the late rapper, is currently wanted for driving under the influence (DUI) case. She is also fighting for custody of her daughter following the tragic death of the late rapper.

The incident happened few years ago. While she pleaded no contest to one of the charges then, Tanisha was sentenced to three years probation. But she allegedly didn’t show up on May 15 – one of the days she was supposed to appear in court for the case. As a result, her probation was revoked and a bench warrant issued.

Last week, the late rapper’s babymama claimed Nipsey’ Hussle’s sister, Samantha Smith, took custody of the child she had with Nipsey and has refused to return her. Nipsey Hussle was murdered on March 31, 2019. Watch surveillance video that captured the moment through this link

Court documents obtained by The Blast show that Tanisha objected Samantha’s recent filing to be named guardian of her ten-year-old daughter. She said that being Emani’s biological mother, she should be given the custody of her child. According to her, the “Law and Policy of this state favors the protection of the rights of natural parents and their children.” She added, “Objector has statutory priority over petitioner.”

Tanisha, 25, also claimed that Emani was visiting her father Nipsey on the day that he was murdered and said that Sam “unlawfully took the minor and as of this date, despite objectors demand, refused to return the minor to Objector.” She further said that she believes “the best interests” of Emani are not being served by Sam’s “act of removing the minor from her mother’s custody; and by refusing contact between minor and mother.” Tanisha is asking that Sam’s petition for guardianship be denied.

In April, Tanisha had requested to be appointed a temporary guardian, but was denied. A judge stated then, there was “No urgency demonstrated for granting this relief prior to hearing on May 14th,” The Blast reported at the time.

The child custody case is yet to be decided by the judge at the time of this post.
