A new report has emerged showing that FBI seized the photo showing Prince Andrew smiling alongside Jeffrey Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre years ago. The photo is now believed to be part of the criminal probe into Epstein’s case, The Post reported.
According to the Telegraph, the photo, which was reportedly taken at Jeffrey Epstein’s gal pal Ghislaine Maxwell’s London home in early 2001, was among 20 images seized by FBI during an interview with Giuffre in 2011.
But the authenticity of the photo is being questioned. A source close to the Duke of York said the photo appears doctored, pointing to Prince Andrew’s fingers, which are wrapped around Giuffre’s waist.
“Andrew’s fingers appear quite slender, like a girl’s fingers,” the pal said. “They are also a strange shade of red. His real fingers are actually much chubbier, quite small and chubby.”
“That has to have an explanation,” Giuffre’s lawyer David Boies told Sky News on Thursday about the photo. “He can’t say he didn’t know her. He can’t say he wasn’t friendly with her. I think it’s hard to look at that picture and say that you had no idea that she was young.”
According to our earlier report, Prince Andrew was named in court documents that were recently unsealed in the Jeffrey Epstein case.
The court papers paint a disturbing portrait of late Jeffrey Epstein’s activities and how others allegedly helped to facilitate the abuse of young girls. A witness statement in the cache alleges that the Duke of York groped a young woman while another posed with his Spitting Image puppet.
Virginia Roberts claimed she was forced to have sex with the duke when she was 17, Sky News reported.
Prince Andrew has long denied the above allegations. He expressed his “tremendous sympathy” for Jeffrey Epstein’s victims.
