A Ghanaian man who allegedly broke into a church building was caught after he got stuck in a hole he secretly followed and entered the building to steal.
The suspect, Agyasuo reportedly broke into a Catholic Church building in Techimantia, Tano South, Ghana.
According to the report, the suspect created a hole inside the ground floor of the locked storey building using a chisel and hammer but unfortunately got trapped in the hole.
Residents saw him making the hole but decided to wait and watch. After making the hole, he climbed in and stole some money from the church and some mobile devices, the report said.
He however couldn’t sneak out of the hole as residents alerted the building caretaker of the building after he had been there for a while.
The caretaker opened the door and found the man trapped inside the hole. As he begged to be let out, residents collected the offering money he stole.
He was also reportedly caught with a bag containing phones as well as computer and accessories he stole from the church.
